24 Days to Earth Hour

I feel like the soul supporter in my town. anyone I talk to seems disinterested. That sucks.

-I've printed out letters, which I will be mailing to area businesses that I think might be most likely to participate.
-Still waiting word from the city paper.
-I'm also going to print stickers.
-I wanted a shirt (BAD!), but they're $47 USD from the WWF and I can't justify that kind of dough, so I might go to the print shop and have one made. Nothing fancy, just the website and date on the back with Earth Hour on the front. If I do, I'll post pics.

Todays green tip of the day:
Doing something small, is better than doing nothing at all.

This is not so much a tip, just a thought. I wish, wish, wish, I could go 100% in every possible way. I wish I could buy only green products and afford to give only green gifts (there are such cute things out there) and fit my home with more green appliances/tools, but MY reality is, we're living off of one income, and a military one at that. We simply can't afford the high cost of living green. When we boycotted Wal-Mart for a year our monthly grocery bill nearly doubled. So I can't do all that I'd like, but I do what I can. I do what my family can afford to do. Sometimes, no, it doesn't feel like enough, but I know that I do care and in the ways we can, we're doing our part. Too many times I see people do nothing, because they feel they can't do enough. Like the quote says, "Nobody made a greater mistake than he who did nothing because he could only do a little".
